BPA Free Microgreen Trays 1122

Microgreen Trays 1122 (1020)

(without holes)

Perfect for growing seeds and microgreens

Durable, reusable 1122 microgreens trays without holes  – dimensions are 50 cm (22″) x 25 cm (11″) x 3cm (1 3/16″) – perfect for growing your own microgreens and seedlings.

These solid trays are designed to provide a sturdy base for your growing setup and can be used to hold water or nutrient solution.

These are larger than the Bootstrap Farmer 1020 microgreen trays that are typically talked about in videos on YouTube that talk about microgreens. When they refer to a 1020 tray, it is a slightly different size to the Bootstrap Farmer trays. We prefer the Garland 1122 trays as they are rigid and give a feeling of strength and durability when using them compared to the Bootstrap Farmer trays.

These trays work well with microgreen trays with holes, deep microgreen trays, silicone mesh medium, steel mesh grow medium.

The Importance of BPA-Free Trays

BPA, or Bisphenol A, is a chemical commonly used in the production of certain plastics.

However, studies have shown that BPA can leach into food and beverages, potentially causing health concerns such as hormonal disruption and developmental issues.

By choosing our BPA-free 1020 microgreen trays, you can ensure that your plants are growing in a safe, non-toxic environment, free from harmful chemicals.

The Kratky Method

A Simple and Efficient Hydroponic Technique

These 1020 (1122) microgreen trays are perfect for using the Kratky method, a low-maintenance hydroponic growing technique that is well-suited for microgreens.

This method involves using a growing tray with holes for your chosen growing medium, placed inside a solid tray that holds the nutrient solution.

As the plants consume the nutrients, an air gap forms, allowing the roots to receive oxygen and promote healthy growth.
